[goblets]

Lidded, long stemmed goblets

2 pieces Kelly created after sitting in on a demo by Jim Christiansen at the Utah Woodturning Symposium.

Left to right: Koa and Milo

These goblets are done in 5 parts: base, stem, cup, lid and finial.

[Koa]   [Koa]

Koa

Multi-axis, long stemmed, lidded goblet

The stem and finial were turned using multiple axis points on the lathe. This was done in part as our bi-monthly challenge for our woodturning group.

This piece took 2nd in the Masters division.

3 3/4" wide by 20" high
